Kansas City, Missouri held the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest event, as UFC on FOX 24 went down last weekend. Inside the Sprint Cent, flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson made his tenth title defense against challenger Wilson Reis.
In the co-main event, Michelle “Karate Hottie” Waterson and Rose “Thug” Namajunas faced off for strawweight division dominance. In the end, “Thug” Namajunas earned herself a decisive second round submission victory over her opponent.
Now, a new video of the fighter’s bout ending rear-naked choke has made its way across the internet. The video shows an intense close up shot of Michelle Waterson’s face during the submission. Having received a few strikes to the face previously, the fighter can be seen bleeding onto the mat.
The intense scene offers a rare insight into the intensity of the octagon, as these two mixed martial arts warriors faced off in the co-main event for hope of achieving a title shot.
