UFC lightweight Will Brooks shared a humorous story about his wife motivating to win his next fight.
On Thursday, Brooks tweeted a conversation with his wife where he tells her he’s ready to fight.
“Good! So, can we get our sh*t together & win,” Brooks wife told him after learning he was ready for another fight.
Brooks called his wife “as savage” but she has a point. Brooks has struggled since leaving Bellator MMA and joining the UFC.
In Bellator, Brooks was the lightweight champion and has two wins over current Bellator Lightweight Champion Michael Chandler.
Last July, Brooks made his UFC debut in a winning effort against Ross Pearson, but since then Brooks has lost his last two fights.
In October, Brooks lost to Alex Oliveira. However, it should be noted, Oliveira weighed in over five pounds above the lightweight limit. Then in April, Brooks was submitted by Charles Oliveira.
My wife: So how you feeling babe
Me: I'm good, I'm ready for a fight
My wife: Good! So, can we get our sh*t together & winShe's a savage
