MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko appears to have some injuries going into his next fight.
In recent photos, Emelianenko’s nose appears to be severely damaged. It’s not clear exactly when the injury took place, or whether it is just the accumulation of fighting for many years.
Below, you can see a recent photo of Emelianenko showing his mangled nose compared to what his nose once looked like.
Emelianenko is scheduled to make his Bellator MMA debut at Bellator MMA: NYC on June 24. The MMA legend is expected to fight Matt Mitrione.
Emelianenko and Mitrione were scheduled to fight back in February. However, a kidney stone force Mitrione to withdraw from the fight just hours before the fight was scheduled to happen.
Emelianenko is on a five-fight win streak. His upcoming fight will be his first fight in the U.S since his last fight in Strikeforce back in 2011.
Bellator MMA: NYC is taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This will be only the second MMA event to ever take place at the historic venue.
