Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones each made sure to take full advantage of yesterday’s UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference. The two rivals showed up to the event ready to answer questions, ready for their staredown and ready for some trash talking.
The UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference went down yesterday. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held the event to inform fans of the mixed martial arts promotion’s packed summer event lineup. Many of the events’ fighters were present for the conference.
Present for the conference, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones dud deep into a new tirade of trash talking. In the heated exchange, Jon Jones shed some light on his defeat over Daniel Cormier at UFC 182.
Daniel Cormier said, “So, I’m sitting here, and I see him. Like, I see him; He’s over there. But is he really going to be in Anaheim? Is this guy really going to go to the fight? Is this guy going to mess this up again by doing steroids or snorting cocaine or sandblasting prostitutes. What’s this guy going to do to mess this up this time?”
Then, Jon Jones responded“Prostitutes? I beat you after a weekend of cocaine. I had two great weekends. Back-to-back weekends. Cocaine one, your ass the next. It was great. That’s a month for the ages.”
