On Saturday, the UFC returned to FOX with an intriguing night of fights in New York.
Two of the top prospects in the bantamweight division squared off on the early prelims when Brian Kelleher fought Marlon Vera.
Kelleher controlled the cage immediately and landed a few leg kicks to start out the fight. Kelleher went for a takedown but Vera stayed on his feet. While trading strikes, Kelleher landed a nasty body shot. He then went for another takedown, but Vera once again stopped it. Eventually, Kelleher got a takedown but Vera locked in an armbar and finished the fight.
