A pivotal matchup in the UFC bantamweight division has been added to the UFC’s next event in Brazil.
On Wednesday, the UFC announced that Pedro Munhoz and Rob Font will fight on Oct. 28 at a UFC Fight Night event in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Munhoz is currently ranked No. 12 in the official UFC bantamweight rankings. He is on a three-fight win streak inside the Octagon. In his last fight, Munhoz won a decision against Damian Stasiak. His other two previous wins were submission victories against Justin Scoggins and Russell Doane.
Font is on a two-fight win streak and has won four of his five UFC fights. He is currently ranked No. 13 in the UFC following a submission win against Douglas Silva de Andrade in July and a knockout win against Matt Schnell back in December.
The UFC’s next Fight Night in Brazil will be headlined by a middleweight fight featuring former UFC champion Lyoto Machida and Derek Brunson.
