Back in 2012, with Georges St-Pierre sidelined from an injury, MMA veterans Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz went to war for the UFC welterweight interim title. Now some intriguing corner audio from the exciting fight has found its way to the internet.
Diaz and Condit would ultimately go the distance, with Condit earning a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. Following the fight, Diaz professed his disagreement with the decision, as he believed Condit “ran” for much of the fight.
In the following year, Nick Diaz made his way to a shot at Georges St-Pierre for UFC 158. However, the fighter suffered another unanimous decision loss. All in all, Diaz has earned an impressive professional record of 26-9, having put on some of the sport’s most exciting performances during his career.
