Joanna Says She’s Coming Back For A Title Shot, ‘The belt is already mine!’

UFC 217 was one of the best events in UFC history but it also was a night of major upsets. In the co-main event “Thug” Rose Namajunas overcame the odd and defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk to become the new UFC strawweight champion. The loss was the first of Jedrzejczyk’s professional mixed martial arts career, but the former champion says that wasn’t the real her and seems extremely motivated to get back on the horse and reclaim the title.

“Thee days before the fight I was super ready. I don’t know what happened. I felt like my head was slower. I was thinking slower and my body was moving slower than usually.

“I’m the greatest. I’m still the champion. She’s the champion now, I’ll let her be the champion, but I’m coming back soon.”

In a new post, Joanna once again confirms that she’s gunning for UFC gold again and already considers the strawweight title hers.

“I’m coming back, straight back for what’s already mine, with my boyzzz” Joanna Jedrzejczyk said in an Instagram post.
