In the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the matchmaking is quickly becoming more about the star, rather than the champions. In companies like Bellator and World Series of Fighting, however, the championship belts are still the ultimate goal in the promotions and is usually an indicator of who is getting paid most within the companies.

Moraes is a former challenger to the WSOF championship and while he may not be at the top of his class, he no doubt deserves more money and more of an opportunity to make ends meet inside the cage rather than the streets in his car.
