Stipe Miocic is only days away from his next big title defense. That being said, the heavyweight champion is still fighting fires in Cleveland, Ohio.

Miocic earned the title of being the most dangerous man on the planet when he secured the UFC heavyweight belt. With that in mind, there is more to Miocic than meets the eye. When the heavyweight champion is not training in mixed martial arts, Miocic is fighting fires.

Miocic has been a firefighter for over a decade now, spending much of his time at the Valley View station in Ohio. After earning the coveted UFC heavyweight title, not much changed for the firefighter turned mixed martial artist.

Mioic is set to face off against rising knockout artist Francis Ngannou at UFC 220. The live pay-per-view event is just around the corner, as the show goes down Jan. 20 inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
