The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has come forward to reveal the official cast for the promotion’s next season of The Ultimate Fighter.
The UFC revealed on Friday that UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will be moving up in weight to challenge UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for his title at UFC 226 during International Fight Week this summer in Las Vegas, Nev. However, the mixed martial arts promotion also announced that Cormier and Miocic will be coaching the latest season of the UFC’s hit television series.
Titled The Ultimate Fighter 27: Undefeated, the season will only feature fighters of the lightweight and featherweight division that have yet to lose in their careers. Miocic and Cormier will coach the teams in anticipation for their epic super title fight.
