Fighter Kicks Off UFC on FOX 27 With a Brutal Finish | UFC Results

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is inside the Spectrum Center in Charolette, N.C. tonight, Jan. 27, for the promotion’s next exciting night of fights. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting UFC on FOX 27 for fight fans.

Kicking off the night of fights, featherweights Austin Arnett and Cory Sandhagen are throwing down on the UFC Fight Pass prelims.

The fight kicked off at a brutal pace, as Sandhagen began throwing a series of different techniques. Mixing it up, the fighter began walking down Arnett and brutalizing his opponent with a variety of strikes.

Halfway through the round, Sandhagen landed a successful takedown on Arnett. However Arnett was able to make it back to his feet and to the center of the octagon.

Arnett then began bringing the pressure to Sandhagen, offering his opponent a flurry of strikes that put Sandhagen on his back foot. This was seemingly a dominant round for Sandhagen.

The second round opened up at a slower pace, as Arnett was seemingly hesitant due to Sandhagen’s success with his takedowns. With three minutes left to go in the round, Arnett forced Sandhagen to the fence.

The two mixed martial arts warriors entered a clinch war, before Sandhagen managed to drag Arnett to the canvas. Back to their feet, the two fighters entered a brutal exchange.

Sandhagen landed a tough liver shot that stunned Arnett. Sandhagen finished his opponent with a follow up of strikes that left Arnett in the field position on the canvas.
