Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now set to face off against Tenshin Nasukawa at Rizin 14 on Dec. 31. The bout will take place under "special rules," though the specifics of the bout's rule set have yet to be revealed. "Money" Mayweather returned to retirement back in 2017, but has since come back to the world of combat sports for the upcoming match up. Speaking at Rizin's recent press conference for the official announcement of the match up, Floyd Mayweather Jr. offered a few words on the bout. \u201cThis kid right here is very special. He\u2019s young, very fast, and he is undefeated. It\u2019s obvious he\u2019s been doing something right to be where he is at, so I\u2019m proud of him. It doesn\u2019t matter where the fight is at, but it\u2019s in a special place. I\u2019m pretty sure he\u2019s going to bring a lot of excitement. I\u2019m going to bring a lot of excitement. And that\u2019s what the people want to see.\u201d \u201cThe weight class and the rules, we will get that situated within the next couple weeks. This particular bout is a special bout as we are giving people something they have never seen before. The world has never seen Mayweather compete live in Tokyo.
