The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) delivered another exciting night of fights over the weekend. With the highly anticipated fight card having now come to a close, the time has come to take a look at the UFC fighter salaries. UFC 226 took place on July 7, for International Fight Week, live on pay-per-view for fight fans around the world. From inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., the exciting fight card offered a series of exciting match ups. However, it would appear that the night's competitors did not all walk away with massive paydays from their UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payouts. A total of 14 fighters made $5,000 or less from the service, in which UFC competitors are compensated for media obligations, Reebok outfitting and other items under the UFC fighter code of conduct. Among those to bank $5,000 or less was none other than co-headliner and former heavyweight title challenger Francis Ngannou, who earned some series controversy for his uneventful fight against Derrick Lewis on the night's card.
