The co-main event of Ultimate Fighting Championship’s event this weekend suffered a major scare when Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov reportedly made his way to a hospital just three hours before the weigh-ins started.
Las Vegas, Nevada is hosting tomorrow’s “UFC 209” event which means fighters are required to meet early weigh-in requirements. Nurmagomedov was reportedly brought to the hospital on Friday morning and it is not clear whether or not the complications were due to a weight-cut. Russian media were first to report the news on his social media, and Izvestia has claimed to have confirmed it with Nurmagomedov’s father:
