Florian Speaks Out, Believes USADA Has Changed Jacare’s Physique

Ultimate Fighting Championship made their way into the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri for “UFC on FOX 24” where Robert Whittaker made a statement, making himself an instant contender in the stacked middleweight division.

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza had fought his way toward the top of the weight class and was one of the few fighters in the division that could make the claim he was the next challenger for the championship. Instead of getting his shot, however, the opportunity went to a returning Georges St-Pierre and “Jacare” was left to prove himself by facing whichever fighter UFC put in front of him.

After getting defeated by Yoel Romero, “Jacare” manhandled the likes of Vitor Belfort and Tim Boetsch into defeat. When it was revealed he would be taking on Robert Whittaker, many fans and fighters simply assumed “Jacare” would get his hand raised once again.

Whittaker shocked the world when he sent “Jacare” crashing to the mat not once, but twice before finishing him in the second round of their main card contest. Kenny Florian was breaking down the fights in his own leisure and brushed upon the subject of Souza’s physique and you can check it out below:

“I gotta say, for ‘Jacare’, how many times can we avoid talking about a guy about how they looked physically different. He looked physically different than he has in the past. He looked a little soft.”

What do you think about Souza’s physique?
