If you are in Houston and heading out to Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 104 and were expecting to attend Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins, you will have to change your plans.
The UFC announced there will be no ceremonial weigh-ins. The reason is unknown as why the change for this weekend.
MMAImports.com has reached out to UFC officials on the reason and haven’t received a response at this time of writing.
All fighters will tip the scales at the official weigh-ins at 10 a.m. ET, which will be closed to the public.
Fans though can see the open workouts featuring the main fighters on the card Thursday at the Henke & Pillot (809 Congress Ave. in Houston). The fighters that will be in attendance include main eventers Chan Sun Jung and Dennis Bermudez, co-main eventers, Alexa Grasso and Felice Herrig and main card fighters, James Vick and Abel Trujillo.
UFC Fight Night 104 takes place from the Toyota Center in Houston. You can watch the first two fights on UFC Fight Pass and the rest of the event can be seen on Fox Sports 1.
