In a Facebook Live interview with USA Today Sports, UFC President Dana White gave his opinion on many of the fighters within the league. Among them, the president had a few things to say about UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes’s desire to move up a division.
The champ has expressed her desires to move up in weight to fight the winner of next week’s UFC main event. If victorious she would be the first woman in history to hold two world titles.
When asked about it, White said
“Let’s pump the brakes. She has got to defend her title two times before she talks about going anywhere, holding two belts.”
The champion is coming off of a big win over Ronda Rousey at last year’s UFC 207. She won with a staggering TKO in the first found.
