Ferguson and Khabib Erupt Into Verbal Brawl For The Ages During Today’s UFC 209 Conference Call

UFC lightweight title contenders Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov are not friends. Luckily for fight fans the duo will settle their longtime feud in the cage, in next week’s UFC 209 co-main event.

Ahead of fight night, fighters from the pay-per-view card took to a media conference call. That’s when things got interesting.

Here’s some highlights:

Ferguson:
“You’re first fight (Gleison Tibau), you lost to him – I beat him in the first round. You ain’t breaking (expletive). You keep talking.”

Khabib:
“You said Michael Johnson was going to kill me. What happened? I finished him. I could have finished him in the first round. I could have finished him in the second round.”

“You have seven knockdowns.”

Ferguson:
“If you try to take me down, you’re going to find out how sharp my elbows are,”
