Nelson is coming off a submission win over Albert Tumenov in May. He has a 6-2 UFC record. Nelson’s only UFC losses were a decision loss to Demian Maia and a split-decision loss to Rick Story. He has notable UFC wins over Jorge Santiago, Zak Cummings, and Bradon Thatch. Overall, five of Nelson’s UFC wins have come by submission.
Jouban is on a three-fight win streak in the UFC. He is coming off a decision win over Mike Perry in December. His win streak also includes wins over Belal Muhammad and Brendan O’Reilly. Just like Nelson, Jouban has a 6-2 UFC record. Three of his wins have come by knockout or TKO.
Jimi Manuwa will fight Corey Anderson in a pivotal light heavyweight fight in the main event at The O2 Arena. Bantamweight veteran Brad Pickett will also fight for the last time as he fights Henry Briones in his retirement fight.
