Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is without a doubt the most dangerous female fighter in the world, and she has the gold to prove it. The Invicta FC Featherweight Champion made her way into the world-famous octagon last year and tore through two opponents before nearly capturing a shot at a newly created UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship. However, a misunderstanding on USADA’s end caused an unnecessary halt in “Cyborg’s” path to UFC gold. Instead, Germaine De Randamie defeated Holly Holm to become the new champion.
White had revealed before De Randamie won the belt that the winner would likely square off with “Cyborg”, but an injury will sideline De Randamie for quite some time. Instead, “Cyborg” chose to keep busy and challenged Megan Anderson to unify her interim featherweight championship with “Cyborg’s” undisputed belt. Anderson seems to be another fighter who wants no part of “Cyborg”, essentially turning down the challenge below:
Sounds like @IronLadyMMA might need some time off. @MeganA_mma you ready to unify the @InvictaFights belts?!
