Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones may be one of the most dominant champions to ever step into the octagon, but fans have seen their fair share of vulnerable moments involving the great. Nothing was more embarrassing, however, than having his coach wipe his rear for him when he was in the hospital after a fight.
Jones’ scrap with Alexander Gustafsson will go down in history as one of the greatest championship fights in the history of the sport. Both fighters left it all inside the octagon and painted the mat with their blood, sweat, and tears. Both fighters made their way to the hospital after the bout and Jones found out the hard way that he could not wipe himself after going to the restroom. Jones explained to Fox Sports how he had to have his coach wipe his butt:
“I had to use the bathroom, but my hands were all swollen. My legs hurt, my knees, everything was just jacked up,” Jones said. “And my coach was just like, ‘yea, this is one of those moments, Jones.’ He looked me in my eyes when he was [wiping my butt].”
