Ultimate Fighting Championship will be making their way back to the T-Mobile Arena on March 4, 2017 for “UFC 209”. The card will be headlined by a welterweight championship bout between Tyron Woodley and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson with an interim bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson doing co-main duties.
While the card is one of the most stacked events of 2017 so far, tickets have been moving slowly for the event. Just seven days away from fight night, there may be a lot tickets remaining to be sold. The map of seats available for T-Mobile Arena leaves more to be desired and seeing as the company is still announcing fights just eight days away from fight night shows that this card left more to be desired for fans buying tickets.
Nick Diaz took to his Snapchat on Friday night and showed how he really felt about tickets not getting moved on the card that many believed he and Nate Diaz should have headlined and co-headlined (209):
Nick Diazs thoughts on the Woodley/Thompson fight not selling well.
As of Saturday afternoon, this is what the map for T-Mobile Arena looks like for UFC 209 (blue seat = unsold ticket):
