Ultimate Fighting Championship is back on Russian airwaves just in time for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s co-main event bout with Tony Ferguson. The two will be fighting for the right to become interim champion and the Russian fighter nearly stepped into the octagon without a hefty majority of his fans not being able to tune in.
Match TV lost the rights to air UFC fights back in January after failed negotiations and after UFC struck a deal with Match TV and Telesport [via. Bloody Elbow], the upcoming “UFC 209” pay-per-view will be seen by the diehard Russian mixed martial arts fans.
