Yoel Romero Gets Tested By USADA, Sends Message To Michael Bisping

Yoel Romero is finally on the cusp of a UFC middleweight title shot at Michael Bisping and has been at a war of words with the champion for months now. Bisping has not let up on Romero and his USADA issues from 2015, while Romero believes Bisping is ducking the fight as much as possible.

Romero was flagged for a doping violation in December of 2015 but after USADA tested his supplements themselves, it was later revealed that the banned substance found (Ibutamoren) was not present on the product label. Romero was handed a six month suspension in April of 2016 and is now waiting for his chance to fight for the UFC middleweight title.

Of course Romero is still undergoing the same strict USADA testing that the entire roster does, but he’s also making sure that Bisping knows that they will be facing off very soon.
