UFC 211’s fight card may have just gotten a little fuller, as two exciting lightweights have verbally agreed to face off in the Dallas, Texas arena.
UFC 211 will see heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic defend his title from former champion Junior Dos Santos in the main event, while strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will be defending her title from Jessica Andrade in the co-main event.
Now, former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier may be soon added to the exciting mix. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto recently tweeted that the two fighters have verbally agreed to meet each other inside the octagon for the event.
“Breaking: Eddie Alvarez vs. Dustin Poirier verbally agreed to UFC 211 on May 13 in Dallas.” Okamoto posted.
