Top UFC lightweight contender Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov had a really bad weekend.
In what should have been the highlight of his career thus far, his UFC 209 title fight against Tony Ferguson got nixed when a health scare hospitalized him, which eventually lead to his fight being cancelled.
We’ve been covering this topic since Friday, and Khabib only now just made a statement to his fans.
