Ultimate Fighting Championship’s trip to Dallas, Texas is becoming more and more stacked as each week passes. The American Airlines Center will host one of the biggest cards in the summer in “UFC 211” which will feature two championship clashes. A former champion in Frankie Edgar was recently added to the card as well and he will welcome rising star Yair Rodriguez to the octagon for their featherweight fight.
Ricardo Lamas has been calling Edgar out for quite some time and the two have traded barbs with one another, but it seems like Edgar left Lamas hanging high and dry. Lamas took to his Twitter account to dish out a reaction to hearing Edgar and Rodriguez had just been booked:
I guess "anywhere anytime" means, "no where at no time." #ufc211

Lamas is coming fresh off a submission win over Charles Oliveira at “The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale: dos Anjos vs. Ferguson” and was hoping to capitalize on his momentum by taking out a former champion. It appears the fighter will have to wait, however.
