MAYWEATHER BEATS MCGREGOR IN ONE ROUND … Says Sugar Ray Leonard

TMZ Sports recently got a hold of boxing legend “Sugar” Ray Leonard and managed to squeeze out a few opinions from the boxing phenom about Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s potential bout with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

“Notorious” and Mayweather have been trying to pull this fight together for some time now. No official announcements have yet been made, concerning the epic cross-promotional event. Yet, rumors have been spreading for many weeks. Most recently, McGregor admitted that he his close to signing a contract with Mayweather for the fight.

With the epic bout potentially nearing a conclusive decision, a boxing legend has decided to provide some of his opinions on the bout.

Largely considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, “Sugar” Ray Leonard ultimately sided with Mayweather for the potential bout. When asked how long McGregor would last against Mayweather, Leonard stoutly held up a single finger and exclaimed “one round.”
