Sergio Moraes and Davi Ramos made their way into the octagon for their welterweight bout and neither man shied away from standing in the middle of the octagon, throwing bombs.
Both men threw their fair share of wild shots, but they were either barely blocked or missed by a mile. The fact that they skipped the feeling out process made for some messy combinations and bizarre scrambles up close but neither fighter landed anything that meant they won the round.
The fight picked up in pace in the second round and saw Moraes find his distance with straight kicks. Ramos answered with a nasty body shot of his own that froze Moraes up, but he was able to recover in time to prevent Ramos from charging in. The action reached another lull in the second and would never truly pick back up until the final round when Moraes tried to push the pace from a distance, hoping to land a shot that would force Ramos to stop sticking in front of him.
Still, all throughout the final round, Ramos stood flat footed in front of Moraes and fired off combinations which were all easily avoided. The crowd showered both Moraes and Ramos with a chorus of boos after the final horn sounded due to the inactivity and lulls in action both fighters endured due to skipping the feeling out process.
Sergio Moraes def. Davi Ramos by way of Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
