Ultimate Fighting Championship made their way to the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri for “UFC on FOX 24” in what turned out to be one of the most exciting fight cards of the year. UFC President Dana White was cageside for most of the action and, like everybody else, seemed to enjoy the card.
The main card action kicked off with a major upset victory for Renato Moicano as he walked out with the decision win against Jeremy Stephens. The pace of the main card picked up when Robert Whittaker sent Ronaldo Souza crashing to the mat for the upset knockout win.
“Thug” Rose Namajunas choked out “The Karate Hottie” Michelle Waterson in the co-main event of the evening after establishing her dominance and superiority standing and grappling on the mats. After battering Waterson’s face, Namajunas forced the strawweight into submission.
The action was all capped off by another championship defense from Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson as he forced Wilson Reis into submission with ease. See what the boss had to say about all of the action in the clip below:
