Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey and current heavyweight fighter Travis Browne dropped a bombshell on Thursday afternoon when she revealed they are now engaged. The couple started dating eighteen months ago.
Rousey has not been spotted inside the octagon since her second knockout loss in a row to Amanda Nunes at “UFC 207”, but she has been keeping busy with photoshoots all the while being featured in the television series “Blindspot”. Rousey seems to have carved a place for herself away from the octagon, and UFC President Dana White doesn’t expect to see her back anytime soon.
Browne will be making his way back to the octagon soon enough, hoping to bounce back from his three fight losing skid he is currently riding. With his losses to Derrick Lewis, Fabricio Werdum, and Cain Velasquez now behind him, Browne is likely hoping to make a triumphant return.
While Rousey and Browne have a whole lot of planning to do, they will have to arrange it for a date where Dana White does not have any events to attend as he hopes to make his way to the wedding as well. He told TMZ Sports:
“I’m very happy for Ronda and I’m looking forward to the wedding!”
