UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has decided to explore opportunities outside of the octagon, teasing the fact that he will be inking a deal to square off with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a cross-sport super fight. While this kind of deal takes forever and a day to secure, McGregor isn’t letting this hold-up stop him from having a LOT of fun.
McGregor recently made his way to Liverpool, England and reportedly went on a three day partying binge after his contracted appearance. The lightweight fighter is known for his extravagant lifestyle and claims to have an “unhealthy habit of spending money” which is balanced out by his “healthy habit of making money”.
McGregor made a lot of money during his last appearance inside the octagon, knocking Eddie Alvarez out cold in the main event of the biggest mixed martial arts event in company history, and in the world’s most famous arena. As McGregor stood there with two championships slung over his shoulder in Madison Square Garden, he knew months of celebration would follow.
Judging by the picture below, it appears McGregor partied his heart out while in Liverpool. The image below depicts McGregor on his jet, flying home with a bag of cash in his lap. Mayweather does this on his jet, and it just seems fitting that McGregor did the same:
