The world is buzzing about the possibility of Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. finally stepping into the boxing ring to throw down. While the fight is likely still a long way from happening, the biggest obstacle in Dana White has removed himself from the equation, allowing McGregor to take the fight.
Ultimate Fighting Championship commentator Joe Rogan has sat cageside for nearly every single one of Conor’s fights and it’s difficult to say that you should bet against one of the best in the world. But when the best boxer is taking on the best mixed martial artist in a boxing match, the boxer wins every time.
Rogan and company broke down the cross-sport super fight on a recent edition of “The Joe Rogan Experience”. Even though smart money would say to hold off your bets for this fight, Rogan feels like he has enough confidence in Conor to put some on the line on the underdog!
“You don’t know because you’ve never seen Conor box. Mayweather’s a way better boxer. But the consequences of Conor hitting you should be greater and I say ‘should be’ because I think he’s certainly a stronger puncher than Mayweather. But, he has boxing gloves on.”
Who do you think will walk out as the winner?
