It does not matter if you are the flyweight champion or the heavyweight champion of the world. As long as you fight under the Ultimate Fighting Championship banner, there’s a good chance UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping will set his sights on you and find a way to insult you.
His latest victim is Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson who is coming fresh off his tenth championship defense after “UFC on FOX 24”. Even though he seems to be one of the most dominant champions in the promotion, fans just do not seem to want to tune into the fights when Johnson is out there.
Despite his dominant performance against Wilson Reis, “UFC on FOX 24” drew a record-low number of viewers in the overnight ratings for FOX. “The Count” was quick to point that out and reveal that he had the secret as to why “nobody cares”:
“You gotta open your mouth a little bit. You have to talk. You have to create some controversy now. You don’t HAVE to but if you want to get the big payday, you want the big bucks, you want everyone to tune in to watch you fight you have to make it interesting.”
