The last time Nate Diaz stepped into the octagon, he left it all on the mats during an all out war with rival Conor McGregor in a bout that saw “The Notorious” get his hand raised by way of decision. While fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of Diaz to the octagon, he has been hanging back and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
Diaz recently made his way to meet with the Nevada State Athletic Commission to learn his revised punishment for the water-bottle throwing fiasco at the “UFC 202” Pre-Fight Press Conference. McGregor’s fine was drastically reduced, and fans were wondering if Diaz would be granted the same fate:
Looks like Diaz is going to get $15k fine and 15 hours community service from NSAC, down from 50k and 50 hrs.

It has been decided by the commission that Diaz will now only be paying a $15,000 fine and serving fifteen hours of community service rather than the original $50,000 fine that he was penalized with along with fifty hours of community service.
Do you think we will see Nate back in the octagon anytime soon? Diaz has been called out by an endless list of fighters, but the Stockton fighter has made it clear that he is only interested in big money fights. Is Tony Ferguson big-money enough, or should he simply wait for Conor? Let us know what you think in the comment section below!
