Take A Look At “Thug” Rose and “The Karate Hottie” Hit The Scales

UFC will be making their way to the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri for “UFC on FOX 24” where Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson will be defending his title. His challenger, Wilson Reis, has only lost one of his last six fights and is currently riding a three-fight win streak.

In the co-main event of the evening, Michelle Waterson will be stepping into the cage across from Rose Namajunas for strawweight superiority. Both women can get one fight closer to challenging whoever walks out of the “UFC 211” co-main event as the UFC Strawweight Champion and with a decisive enough win at “UFC on FOX 24” both women can make a claim to become challengers.

UFC has changed the weigh-in process, favoring the health of the fighters by moving the weigh-ins back to the morning the day before the fight. Fighters have not been properly hydrating themselves after the evening weigh-ins and this earlier weigh-in gives fighters a chance to re-hydrate intelligently.

Johnson, Reis, Namajunas, and Waterson all hit the scales on Friday morning to make their fights at “UFC on FOX 24” official. All fighters made weight for the event and all they have left to do is square off at the weigh-in ceremonies, later on, tonight before they step into the octagon tomorrow.
