Ultimate Fighting Championship made their way into the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee for “UFC Fight Night 108”. While Cub Swanson dominated in the main event against Artem Lobov, most of the fans are still buzzing about “Platinum” Mike Perry’s dominant knockout win.
Perry was welcomed into the octagon by Jake Ellenberger who stood his ground in the opening round and actually went right back to his corner with a lot of pep in his step, ready to come out and outwork Perry in the second.
Perry approached the second round a bit different than the first, and walked to the middle of the octagon a bit more patient than he was in the opening round. It wasn’t long before he dropped Ellenberger with a powerful right hand, but it was the next knockdown that endewd it all.
Perry got within striking distance of Ellenberger and stepped a bit closer; He threw a short elbow that clobbered Ellenberger, knocking him down to the mat out cold. The referee waved off the fight immediately making it Perry’s first walk-off short elbow KO in the octagon.

This is a tough fight for Perry. Ellenberger is well rounded. If he can win I'll give it to him
