UFC Results: Bad Ref Stoppage Sees Cummings Put Coy To Sleep Long After Tapout

Zak Cummings walked into his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri to keep the crowd alive during his welterweight contest with Nathan Coy on UFC Fight Pass. With every shot that Cummings landed, the crowd in the Sprint Center exploded and it may have started to get in the head of Coy as early as the first round.

Cummings landed the right hand perfectly and you could see the frustration begin to build on the face of Coy. Coy shot for a desperate single-leg takedown and left his neck exposed, leaving Cummings to latch onto it for a guillotine attempt. The referee could have waved the fight off much sooner, but he finally waved the fight off after Coy was put to sleep.
