A video of UFC President Dana White has recently surfaced its way back up to the internet. Back in 2010, lightweight contender Nate Diaz took on middleweight Rory Markham at UFC 111. Beating the middleweight within the first round, White had a lot of nice things to say about the fighter.
White and Diaz have recently been having some beef. White claimed that Diaz is waiting for a third bout with Conor McGregor. But, Diaz went to Twitter to state that the UFC president is “making (expletive) up about me.”
All of that being mentioned, White had some pretty great things to say about the fighter concerning UFC 111.
“Nate Diaz is a real fighter man. Nate stepped up and took that fight, when he knew that the guy was 10 lbs heavier than him. [He] took the fight anyway and ends up stopping him in the first round.” White said.
