The stagehands at Ultimate Fighting Championship have packed up the octagon and left the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee as “UFC Fight Night 108” is in the books. In the main event of the night, Cub Swanson was hoping to show the world that Artem Lobov did not belong in the octagon with him.
Instead, Lobov proved to be one of the toughest fighters in the UFC when he ate almost every single shot in Swanson’s arsenal, possibly twice, and kept pushing forward.
Swanson picked apart Lobov from the get-go, but that’s not to say that Artem did not land his fair share of shots as well. For every two or three shots that Swanson connected with, Lobov would land with one of his own.
Neither man backed down from the fight and even though you could tell it was going to go to the distance by the second round, you still sat on the edge of your seat because you believed that the next blow could be Lobov’s last. Watch all the highlights in the clip below:
