UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones were not allowed to square off with each other during Friday’s UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference.
During the press conference, the UFC confirmed the two rivals would fight each other at UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim, California.
The two wasted no time throwing insults at one another during the press conference. When the press conference finished everyone waited eagerly for the two to face off, but the UFC didn’t allow it to happen.
The UFC did allow the two fighters to get on stage with each other but each fighter was surrounded by multiple security guards. The guards would not allow Cormier and Jones to go face to face.
