The UFC athlete retreat came to an end last night. However, the event found itself in some controversy before the night was over. Now, it would appear that Angela Magana is claiming that “Cyborg” has been cut from the UFC.
During the retreat, former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino had a confrontation with UFC strawweight Angela Magana. Police were called by the UFC after Magana was struck by the former champion.
Angela Magana is now pressing charges against Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino concerning the incident. Now, Magana has taken to Twitter to claim that “Cyborg” has been cut from the UFC roster.
There has been no official statement from the UFC concerning Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino and “Cyborg” has yet to reveal any such news. As a result, the claim of “Cyborg’s” release is solely a rumor.
Responding to Carla Esparza’s message concerning the incident, Magana stated “@CarlaEsparza1 @criscyborg I don’t regret (expletive). She is the one who has criminal charges now and loss her job.”
All I'm gonna say is: don't ever trash talk @criscyborg because she might find you and make you regret it! ??? #CyborgVsAngelaMagana
