Longtime UFC welterweight Jake Ellenberger has broken his silence on social media since his most recent loss.
In April, Ellenberger was knocked out by “Platinum” Mike Perry at a UFC Fight Night event in Nashville, Tennessee.
“I’ve put it on the line; anyone who hasn’t put it all on the line cannot speak. I apologize to nobody,” Ellenberger wrote on his Instagram page.
Ellenberger does not seem to want to retire despite not having much luck in his most recent UFC outings. He has lost seven of his last nine fights inside the UFC cage.
Ellenberger is currently on a two-fight losing streak. However, his prior fight with Jorge Masvidal ended in controversy after Ellenberger’s foot got stuck in between the mat and the cage.
Overall, Ellenberger has a 10-9 record in the UFC. He has been fighting for the promotion since 2009. His career is highlighted by wins over Jake Shields, Diego Sanchez, Nate Marquardt, Josh Koscheck, and Matt Brown.
