UFC strawweight Angela Magana is pressing charges against Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino, and the future isn’t looking bright for the former champion.
This past weekend, the UFC hosted a retreat, in Las Vegas, for its athletes. During the retreat, “Cyborg” confronted Magana over some tweets. Magana had made posts making fun of the way Justino looks. The confrontation led to Justino punching Magana.
On Tuesday, Magana tweeted information she had received while talking to the district attorney and her lawyers. Magana claims “Cyborg” will be facing felony charges for assaulting her.
Many people have been anticipating an announcement on when, and who, Justino would fight next. After her actions at the retreat, Justino’s fighting career is in question. Not only because of her pending legal issues but also because it is unknown what the UFC will do as a result of her actions.
