The UFC Heavyweight Champion Has Returned To His Day Job As A Fireman

Despite being the badest heavyweight fighter on the planet, UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic still keeps his day job.

Since successfully defending his title for the second time earlier this month, Miocic has returned to his job as a firefighter in his home state of Ohio.

Miocic shared a photo from Memorial Day on his Twitter. In the photo, Miocic is wearing his uniform and is attending what appears to be a parade. The heavyweight champion is also accompanied by two miniature horses.

At UFC 211, Miocic knocked out former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos. This win was his second title defense and ties him for the all-time record for consecutive title defenses in the heavyweight division.

Miocic’s first title defense came in his hometown of Cleveland last September. At UFC 203, Miocic knocked out Alistair Overeem.

Miocic won the title last year by knocking out Fabricio Werdum. His win streak also includes victories over Mark Hunt and Andrei Arlovski.
