Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is no longer making public appearances without getting paid up front.
“Do to recent events I will no longer be doing any public appearances unless show fee is collected before appearance. More details soon,” Justino said in a tweet on Wednesday.
Justino’s training partner, Gabi Garcia, responded to the tweet and gave some details on what had happened.
The heavyweight female fighter said “Cyborg” made a public appearance at a swingers club but wasn’t paid her speaking fee.
Justino is currently rumored to be fighting at UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim, California. UFC President Dana White confirmed “Cyborg” would be competing at the event. However, no opponent has been announced for the featherweight fighter.
Another UFC executive, Joe Carr, said in a recent interview that Justino’s next fight will be for a UFC title, but he doesn’t know whether she’ll fight for an undisputed or interim championship.
