The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held another big event last night. UFC Fight Night 112 went down on Sunday night, but did not make it through the night without some controversy. Now, many of the mixed martial arts promotion’s competitors have come forward with some thoughts on the night’s main event referee.
In the main event, UFC lightweights Kevin “The Motown Phenom” Lee and Michael Chiesa faced off against each other in an epic grudge match. However, the fight came to an abrupt end within the very first round. Lee sank in a rear-naked choke on his opponent, earning the fighter a submission victory over Michael Chiesa. However, many fighters and fans have voiced their outrage over the referee’s decision to stop the fight.
See what some of the promotion’s fighters had to say in the social media posts below:
Just ran home to see that ! No tap !? That sucks man. Feel for chiesa. Look what Kish got out of earlier in night. Not over.

When are referees gonna be held accountable for bad calls? I know it's a tough job but a bad call changes people's lives
