UFC lightweight contender Nate Diaz recently shared his thoughts on the highly anticipated boxing match between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
TMZ spoke to Diaz, but the former title challenger was reluctant to talk too much about the boxing match.
“They’re fighting for the number two sport right now,” Diaz said about Mayweather and McGregor.
Diaz said he wasn’t sure whether or not McGregor was going to ever fight in the UFC again. He also said he isn’t sure whether or not he would even fight McGregor for a third time.
“I don’t know. I have a lot of stuff going on right now,” Diaz said about a potential trilogy fight against McGregor.
Diaz is the only fighter to defeat McGregor in the UFC. Last year, Diaz submitted the UFC champion at UFC 196.
Mayweather vs. McGregor is scheduled to take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
