UFC President Dana White is not a part of the negotiations for a boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
According to a report by the LA Times, negotiations for the potential boxing match are being done by UFC owner Ari Emanuel, of WME-IMG, and Al Haymon, who is Mayweather’s manager.
The report also confirms that White is not involved in the negotiations despite what the UFC figurehead has said in the past.
In recent interviews, White has claimed that he worked out a deal with McGregor, but still needed to make a deal with Mayweather.
McGregor has confirmed that he has accepted a deal to make his debut in the sport of boxing. At this time, Mayweather has yet to officially agree on a deal to come out of retirement.
The LA Times also reports that the parties involved want the fight to take place early in the fall.
